Video Conferencing is increasing in importance as more businesses move to remote working.
Person-to-person and person-to-group Video Conferencing has become the norm thanks to software such as Zoom, Teams and Skype. This is absolutely fine if everyone is sat at their desk (or kitchen table!) but what about if several participants are in the same location – that is at work. Why not establish a facility in your conference and meeting rooms for Video Conferencing?
Dedicated Video Conferencing Computer
Owing to the distributed nature of our business (Caribbean, USA, Lithuania and the UK), Fresh Mango was an early adopted of this approach to communication and video conferences. We are experienced in what works and what doesn’t, allowing us to make the best recommendations for customers. This is how one of our meeting rooms is setup:
What we have is a compact PC dedicated to the room. It is networked so any member of staff can login and join a video meeting. Additionally there is a conferencing microphone which picks up speech from everyone around the conference table, a wide angle camera and good speakers. We chose 2 monitors since it allows us to follow meeting agendas whilst simultaneously displaying participants and anything we wish to share and discuss.
For example, our website development team conduct reviews with clients this way. Everyone can see each other whilst also viewing the website under development.
